Everest Expedition 2024 Conclusion

A team of 14 international climbers and 18 Sherpas, joining the “Imagine Nepal 2024 Everest Expedition,” reached the summit of the world’s highest peak, Mt. Everest, in various hours between NPT 5:15 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on the morning of 21 May 2024.

After completing the two rotations to Lobuche Peak and Camp III, the team headed for the summit push on the midnight of 16 May and reached Camp II on 17 May, after crossing several aluminium ladders connected to pass the craves and surpassing the riskiest Khumbu Icefall. After a day’s rest at Camp II on 18 May, they continued towards the Lhotse Face, a steep section around 60 degrees and reached Camp III on 19 May. On 20 May, the group continued towards Camp IV climbing the Lhotse slope, the rocky part, especially Yellow Band and Rock Band to Camp IV. On the same evening, the group continued climbing the steeper section of the Triangular Face to Balcony at 8500 meters, South Summit and the Strenuous and crowed Hillary Step, where each climber felt the weight of history and the pull of the unknown, their breaths visible in the thin, icy air, as they ascended the final, treacherous stretch to stand atop the world, enveloped in a panorama of endless snow and sky, a testament to human endurance and the irresistible lure of the Earth’s wildest places and reached the summit in the morning of on Tuesday, 21 May 2024.

Everest Expedition 2024

Earlier, on 12 and 13 May 2024, the first group of 10 international climbers and 10 Sherpas of “Imagine Nepal 2024 Everest Expedition” reached the summit, as some of the Sherpas among Imagine Nepal’s strongest Sherpa team had made the summit twice this season. For more details visit.
