Himlung Himal (7126M) lies in the secluded Mustang region close to Tibet border. Himlung was allowed for Himlung. Himal is the most accessible and beautiful 7000 meters mountain in Nepal. Himlung climbing is the most famous expedition among the 7000-meter Mountains in the Nar-Phu region, the most isolated area in Nepal, frontier to Tibet. So, the climbers must have a special trekking permit as the part is under the restricted area of Nepal. Himlung, on the other hand, is magnificent for climbing and skiing. The journey starts from Koto and continues with high peaks and passes, remote villages, narrow gullies, lovely forests, excellent rock and spring formations, Gompas and unique Tibetan cultures passing through two attractive Tibetan villages, Nar and Phu.
Himlung is a perfect peak for those with previous experience of 6000m climb and is looking to push their altitude experience to the next level. Climbing from base camp to camp II is more on moraine and rock, which you can climb in a normal trekking boot, and then we need to put on climbing boots and crampons from camp II and above. Climbing fromcamp-2 to the summit is perfect for anyone who prefers to experience 7000m. It is very suitable for all grades of climbers. Climbing to the summit is spectacular, with great views of the Annapurna and Manaslu range surroundings.
Himlung expedition team sets three camps to reach the summit: Camp I-at 5450m, Camp II-6000m and Camp III at 6350m.
