Manaslu, Nepal – 20 September 2024: The Imagine Nepal Manaslu team has once again demonstrated its mountaineering expertise, achieving a 100% summit success rate on Manaslu, the world’s eighth-highest mountain at 8,163 meters.
A team of 15 international climbers, supported by 16 Sherpas, successfully reached the summit at different times today, led by renowned climber Mingma G. The group also documented their journey with professional photos and videography. Manaslu, located in Nepal’s Mansiri Himal range, is a popular yet challenging destination for climbers worldwide.
The expedition followed a meticulously planned acclimatization process, beginning the summit push on 16 September after confirming ideal weather conditions. Over the next four days, the team ascended from the base camp to Camp IV, with the summit attempt taking place today, 20 September. The climb occurred just two days after the fixed ropes were secured on the mountain on 18 September at 3:30 pm3:30 pm NPT.
The success of the expedition underscores Imagine Nepal’s commitment to ensuring safe and efficient ascents of some of the world’s most formidable peaks, showcasing their experience and expertise in high-altitude mountaineering.
