Carstensz Pyramid

Climb Carstensz Pyramid (4,884m), the highest peak in Australasia and a key summit of the Seven Summits challenge. Rising dramatically from the rainforests of Papua, Indonesia, Carstensz offers one of the most remote and unique mountaineering experiences in the world. The expedition combines technical rock climbing with cultural immersion and wilderness exploration—making it both physically demanding and deeply rewarding. Accessed via helicopter from Timika, the climb features multi-pitch rock climbing, fixed rope ascents, and exposed ridge traverses. This program is ideal for climbers with solid fitness, basic rope skills, and a taste for adventure in one of the least-visited alpine environments on Earth.
