Dawa is the Executive Director of Imagine Nepal, a company that specializes in mountain treks. He has recently guided the company through significant change, modernizing the core whilst retaining the expertise and loyal staffing that provide the company’s growth. He is now responsible for leading Imagine Nepal. He is a hands-on director who gets out on the field, working directly with the management to keep the organization focused and stimulate the development of new trekking destinations, exploration of recent expeditions and upliftment of service quality.

Dawa has led successful expeditions climbing Mt. Everest from both the north and south sides. He has summited five times and has climbed other peaks such as Mera Peak, Pharchemo, Island Peak and Lobuche. In 2009 he took a break from mountaineering to receive his master’s degree in Tourism Management in England. After graduation, Dawa returned to Nepal, where he has continued leading expeditions since 2010.
