Pasang mostly did his climbing with many veteran Korean climbers. That’s why the Koreans gave him the “Himalayan Tiger”. He is the only Nepalese climber to climb Lhotse Shar, an 8400 meters peak of the Lhotse range, regarded as one of the most challenging climbs. Likewise, he is the only Nepalese climber to climb Yalung Khang (8505m), one of the peaks of the Kanchenjunga Himal range. To date, he has completed 10 of the 14 eight thousand meters of mountain remaining Lhotse, Manaslu, Gasherbrum-I and Broad Peak.
