Lakpa is a non-Sherpa climber who started mountaineering in 2018 as a climbing guide for the Everest expedition and made it to the summit. In a single year, in 2022, he reached the summit of 3 of the 14 eight thousand meters mountain, i.e. Everest for the 2nd time, K2, Broad peak and reached Manaslu camp four.
