Kili Pemba Sherpa

Aka Kilu is one of the 10 Nepalese climbers who made a historic ascent of mount K2 in the winter of 2021, joining Mingma G’s team. In 2018, Kilu was the guide of Mr Xia Boyu, the only climber to reach the summit who had lost both legs. Kilu is from the Rolwaling village, a village of Sherpa mountaineers. He has climbed 9 of 14 eight thousand meters peaks, including Everest, 14 times, Lhotse 3 times and two summits on K2. In addition, Kilu is one of the Sherpa of a Russian climber, Rustam Nabiev, who summited Manaslu in 2021 despite being a double amputee.
