Jit is also popularly known by the name Thile in the sherpa climbing community. He made it to the summit of Everest for the 7th time in 2022. Similarly, Thele has completed 9 of the 14 eight thousandmeters peak. Unfortunately, he was among the Sherpas caught in an avalanche triggered between camp III and Camp IVat Manaslu in 2022 and was severely injured even though he would like to continue working as a climbing guide and looking forward to accomplishing his dream of climbing all the 14 8000 meters peaks.
